We are excited to announce that this coming December we will be adding a new machine from Biesse to our shop floor! At the Las Vegas Woodworking show, we purchased the Biesse Rover B FT Step 2, a new CNC machine for our shop that will help us to simplify complicated projects. The Rover B FT Step 2 is Biesse’s newest numerical control processing centre with a gantry structure and flat table work surface for the nesting of panels, doors, and furniture components but also plexiglass, plastic, aluminum, and acrylics. The Rover B FT also has a new five-axis machining head that will be able to take on more complicated projects at our shop. This CNC machine will cut down our production time and cost by automating the loading, labeling, cutting and unloading process. This new automation will take us from producing 40 sheets a day to 100 sheets. You can see the Biesse Rover B FT in action in the video below
